This is a collection of GPS tracks of hikes in the San Gorgonio Wilderness in the San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California. I was a volunteer USFS ranger in San Gorgonio in 1989-90, and it was my favorite area for hiking and backpacking since I was a Boy Scout. I moved away from SoCal in 2016. These tracks were generated by hand in Caltopo and are hikes I made in the past. I try to make each hike available in three file types: o GPX tracks are standard files you can import into almost any GPS device or mapping application. o KML files can be imported into Google Earth for a very nice 3D representation of the route. o PDFs are topo maps of the routes. I use Caltopo to generate USGS or Forest Service topographical maps you can print out and take with you.
