This is a collection of GPS tracks of hikes I have taken or am planning. The filenames with dates embedded are generated with Gaia GPS and represent actual hiking or biking tracks I recorded myself. These are mostly post-2018, which is when I first began recording my hikes. Other tracks without dates in the filenames were generated by hand in Caltopo and are hikes I made in the past or hikes I am planning. I try to make each hike or ride available in three file types: o GPX tracks are standard files you can import into almost any GPS device or mapping application. o KML files can be imported into Google Earth for a very nice 3D representation of the route. o PDFs are topo maps or terrain profiles of the routes. I use Caltopo to generate USGS or Forest Service topographical maps you can print out and take with you. The profiles are handy for suggesting what you are getting yourself into, though I don't make many of them. You can make your own by downloading a GPX file and importing it into Caltopo.
